Ray's passion for helping his clients build financial certainty stems from growing up in an environment in which financial prosperity was not a priority for most. Seeing how loved ones encountered financial hardship due to lack of proper preparation, Ray took it upon himself to advance his financial services knowledge and credentials in order to best serve his community regardless of what stage of their financial journey they are currently in. For over a decade, Ray has been helping individuals, families and private business owners maintain their financial peace of mind, in good and bad times. He is devoted to the financial success of his clients. Within the first meeting, he is attentively listening to better understand your goals, hopes and concerns. His intent is to treat his clients as he would like to be treated himself; with empathy, respect and professionalism. He encourages clients to accumulate wealth through a systemic approach, value financial security, and develop a strategy for the distribution of wealth. His primary goal is to guide his clients in replacing financial uncertainty for financial success while educating and helping his clients realize their maximum potential.
Ray makes communication with his clients a priority. He is in communication with his clients on a regular basis. They schedule semi-annual and annual meetings to continue strengthening their relationships, refining any plans as needed, and reviewing the progress achieved with each client.
Immediately prior to founding Kingsguard Capital LLC, Ray was in a Management position, as Partner, at New York Life Insurance Company. As such, he worked to grow the company through recruiting and developing Agents in New York City. Prior to that, Ray worked with an international bank (HSBC Bank USA) as a Premier Relationship Manager for approximately 6 years. In his role, he managed and coordinated High net worth client relationships for clients in the US and abroad. Immediately preceeding HSBC, he cultivated relationships with the local business owner community and their banking and investment needs for approximately 3 years as a Relationship Banker at J.P. Morgan Chase Bank in NYC.
Ray is involved in his community and devotes his time away from work to his family, his wife, Yuli and daughter, Elise. He dedicates time to volunteer at multiple non-profit organizations and community outreach centers. His hobbies include fitness, grilling, being a plant dad and traveling with his family.
